United Way of the EUP has signed up for the 2024 Halloween Parade & Trunk or Treat. We are looking for Volunteers to:
Parade- Walk with United Way Staff/Volunteers to help pass out candy, company cards, flyers, and show your support. Dress up is Optional. Meeting at 5:30pm in the Lock City Home Center parking lot (499 Spruce St.). Parade begins on W. Portage Ave. (corner of Magazine St.) until Ashmun St. and will continue on Ashmun until the corner of Ashmun and Library Dr. where it will stop. Our Parade entails walking with an electric scooter pulling a fuzzy volunteer reading Lassie silently! There will be a designated "quiet zone" at the beginning of the Parade from the corner of Magazine St. to just past Lockside Mini Golf. During this block, no music or sirens will be permitted. Looking for Max 3-5 Volunteers to help pass out supplies, that will be contacted via using Portal activity Request and anyone else who wants to walk for support of the United Way. Max 10 People. Please arrive at least 15 mins early for instruction and supplies.
