A day in the life of an Artist's Shop volunteer consists of: Working with the public, including making sales, answering questions, encouraging guests to sign the guest book, and helping to track visitors monthlyusing a Point of Sale system to enter inventory codes for sales, making changeWorking with Arts Council staff to ensure all inventory is correctly coded and inventory is regularly roasted to keep the Shop looking fresh for visitorsLight dusting duties to keep inventory and Shop clean (may also include vacuuming every now and then) Interacting with and logging visiting artists wanting to restock their workClosing out system at end of day and running daily drawer reportHours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Volunteers work with SAAC staff to coordinate schedules.
