March 19, 9am-12pm
EUPISD 315 Armory Pl. SSM, MI
By having a variety of volunteers from all walks of life, we're able to gain input on where the greatest needs are in our community. Through your review and funding recommendation, we're then able to focus dollars more accurately, based on the current community issues and trends.
Our goal is to work toward systemic change in the EUP so our residents move from struggling or 'just getting by' to thriving in a strong community space.
This change comes from seeing the need and being courageous enough to make the tough decisions. This is an opportunity for you to empower our E.U.P. community by helping to make sure funds are supporting programs that help lift our community up, help to create healthier families, and encourage opportunities for growth and economic stability. It is also an 'eye-opening' experience for most of our volunteers as they listen to the presentations, giving them a better understanding of how agencies work, who they help, and how often there is need.
The review panel will be held inside in the ISD March 19th and begin at 9am and end around 12pm. We are looking for a maximum of 25 volunteers ages 16+. Groups will be able to register together.
Once registered, we will follow up with specific details regarding start/end time and a schedule. At that time, if you need to unregister you are welcome to do so.
Link and information will be emailed to the address you've provided on this portal.
